Business Development Manager / Sales and Marketing Manager

Location: Pune

We are searching for an ambitious and results-focused Business Development Manager / Sales and Marketing Manager to join our thriving team.

Job Description: In the role of Business Development Manager / Sales and Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our growth journey by spearheading revenue generation and expanding our client base. Your responsibilities will encompass establishing rapport with potential clients, promoting our employee transportation solutions, and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to achieve our organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies designed to meet and exceed revenue goals within the Pune region.
  • Identify and engage with corporate clients who can benefit from our innovative employee transportation services, using research, networking, and lead generation techniques.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key decision-makers, gaining insight into their transportation needs and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations and demonstrations of our services, effectively highlighting their value proposition and advantages.
  • Lead negotiations of contracts, ensuring mutually advantageous terms and a positive experience for our clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and address any client inquiries or requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential market opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide regular reports detailing sales performance, pipeline status, and pertinent market insights for review by the management team.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A proven track record in roles encompassing business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the transportation, logistics, or related sectors.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to effectively convey the advantages of our services and facilitate successful deal closures.
  • A demonstrated ability to consistently meet or surpass sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
  • Strong relationship-building aptitude, enabling productive interactions with clients, colleagues, and partners.
  • A proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven work ethic.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems and technology is a distinct advantage.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM software and the Microsoft Office suite.

Location: This role is based in Bengaluru. Occasional travel within the Bengaluru metropolitan area may be necessary for client meetings and industry events.
