About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Performing market research, generating leads, and prospecting through calls and emails
2. Contacting doctors and conducting pre-sales activities
3. Executing demos of the product and reach closure of deals by visiting doctors in person
4. Getting a thorough understanding of the product to perform demos and clarify doubts
5. Working on brand building and market reach

Additional Information

Job offer: On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of Rs. 4 to 7 Lac/annum

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 5000 per unit sold).

Alfaleus

Alfaleus is a med-tech start-up incubated at the Vellore Institute of Technology VIT-TBI. Our first product, C3-Fields is a portable and cost-effective device to screen Glaucoma (a disease that affects over 100 million people and leads to permanent blindness). We have been closely working with some of the world's best eye care providers (like Aravind Eye Hospital, JIPMER, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine),over the last 24 months for device development and have recently conducted trials with up to 90% result correlation. Our work has received tremendous appreciation from the medical community and won multiple awards at events like GSI-2018 (Glaucoma Society of India Conference) and AIOC-2018 (All India Ophthalmic Conference),Confederation of Indian Industries (CII),Swissnex from the Switzerland government, and Xpomet Berlin, Germany.
