Key responsibilities:
1. Achieve 'effort' targets & 'sales' targets
2. Work on calling, emailing & following up on the leads or customers as it is at the heart of this role
3. Learn & understand Altair's broad portfolio of solutions quickly
4. Learn about the new tools/software to enable them with their day-to-day activity
5. Research, identify, and qualify new customers where Altair Solutions can be positioned
6. Work on profiling customers to get information through calls, emails, and tools if required
7. Work on making outbound calls, emails to potential customers and following up with questions, and sending additional information required as communication is a key aspect
8. Understand customers' needs, identify sales opportunities, and position the right solution
9. Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers
10. Keep up with product and service information and updates
11. Explain and demonstrate features of products and services
12. Stay informed about competing products and services
13. Upsell products and services
