Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on understanding customer needs and requirements
2. Maintain and expand the database of prospects within the assigned territory
3. Prospect and build a sales pipeline for the outside sales via outbound calling, email communications, and other direct marketing methods
4. Qualify all sales leads, allocate as appropriate and drive leads through the sales process by initiating face-to-face appointments with the outside sales team
5. Follow up with the outside sales & determine the result of the respective meeting. Follow up appropriately to close the loop
6. Meet daily, weekly, and monthly phone and email communication goals following the strategic plan
7. Consistently log and record each-and-every outreach made in the CRM system
8. Act as a bridge between marketing and sales. Be cognizant of each marketing initiative and work towards corporate objectives
