Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
2. Seek out the appropriate contacts in an organization
3. Generate leads and cold-call prospective customers
4. Meet with customers/clients face-to-face or over the phone
5. Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
6. Understand the needs of your customers and respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
7. Have a good understanding of the business's products or services and be able to advise others about them
8. Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
9. Liaise with the finance team, warehousing, and logistics departments as appropriate
10. Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world
11. Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions

Other requirements

1. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business

2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and English

3. Must be a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts
