Generico jobs - Business Development (Sales)

Generico is dedicated to changing healthcare and medicine consumption in India. We are building India's largest generics focused retail pharmacy business, with the aim of providing affordable healthcare to millions. Using a proprietary technology platform and combining it with industry leading retail operations, we are providing transparency, choice and bargaining power to the end consumers, empowering them to manage their health better, and significantly reduce their medical expenses. With a strong focus on generics, we pass on the benefits of efficiency to the consumers, making high quality medicines upto 80% cheaper. Founded by IIT Bombay alumni, Generico is already funded by a leading VC and has grown to 50 stores with a target to reach 100 stores in the next year.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Leading and owning the health loyalty rewards program and metrics at the store level, along with the sales team
2. Interacting with end customers and providing appropriate product knowledge regularly
3. Generating interest and creating opportunities for customers
4. Learning customer needs and discussing/planning the go-to strategy for the loyalty rewards plan
5. Coordinating with the store and CRM team to deliver the program enrollment and engagement metrics
6. Building a customer profile by dynamically taking personal, demographic, and lifestyle information
7. Working on the end to end customer ownership and helping them with the redemption of products and services
8. Maintaining customer level product and information ledger

Note: As a part of the GTM (Go-To-Market) team, we need future-ready leaders, to convey our health loyalty reward plan to our customers. We want enthusiastic people who would directly reach out to our customers at stores, leading the loyalty team at the store, taking customer information, and enrolling them into the program, and ensuring amazing overall customer experience. This role requires physical movement to our stores (with full precautions).
