About the internship
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic lead generation intern to join our sales team for the data science market in the US and Canada. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, an excellent communicator, able to work on their own initiative. The primary focus of the role is to work with the sales & marketing team to develop and deliver a healthy lead generation program, driving qualified leads into the sales pipeline.
Selected intern's responsibilities include:
1. Prospecting, generating, qualifying, processing, and following up on leads and conducting research to identify potential prospects
2. Collaboratively work with the marketing team to develop lead generation strategies to generate lead opportunities with prospective customers
3. Initiating lead/demand generation strategies that include inbound/outbound sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives
4. Participating in new business pitches with sales team and subject matter experts and own follow-through with the lead prospects
5. Providing consistent, concise, accurate internal and external communications
6. Effectively communicate and present the company's solutions and value proposition to customers
7. Providing consistent, concise, accurate, and timely weekly/monthly sales lead gen activity reports to management
8. Working collaboratively in a team environment and independently
9. Developing and maintaining strong relationships
10. Demonstrating a commitment to the technology industry
