Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on identifying new sales leads
2. Work on pitching products and/or services
3. Work on maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
4. Work on researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads
5. Work on contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
6. Work on planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
7. Work on attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
8. Work on keeping prospective client database updated
9. Work on making cold calls for new business leads
10. Work on maintaining knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company
11. Work on arranging meetings for senior management with prospective clients
12. Work on following company guidelines and procedures for the acquisition of customers, submission of tenders, etc.
