About the internship

As a sales representative or rep', it would be your job to sell your company's products. You would be responsible for finding and winning new customers, as well as looking after existing customer accounts. Depending on your market, your customers might be wholesalers, shops, businesses, manufacturers, or individuals within your specific geographical area.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Keeping in contact with existing customers in person and by phone
2. Making appointments with and meeting new customers
3. Agreeing sales, prices, contracts and payments
4. Meeting sales targets
5. Promoting new products and any special deals
6. Advising customers about delivery schedules
7. Recording orders and sending details to the sales office
8. Giving feedback on sales trends
9. Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
