Your Role and Responsibilities

As Business Intelligence Administrator Professional, you are responsible to manage technologies like Cognos, Jaspersoft, Tableau in BI space and Informatica and its related technologies/products like Powercenter etc in ETL space. Responsibilities:

• Primarily to deal with Cognos, Jaspersoft, Tableau technologies in BI space and Informatica and its related technologies/products like Powercenter etc in ETL space.
• Installation, configuration and upgrading of Cognos, Jaspersoft, Tableau and related products.
• Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate expertise in RDBMS concepts which are very well needed to manage interactions with ETL and BI tools and technologies.
• Responsible for user/role management, security management along with data masking (static and dynamic) including but not limited technologies like DDM, TDM etc.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in IT Industry
• Experience in ETL & BI Administration and in production support
• Expertise in monitoring mechanisms/performance tuning/Bottle neck identifications
• Ability to analyze application and system Logs, debug issues around functionality, performance, infrastructural aspects (Disk/Memory/CPU)
• Hands-on experience related to automation technologies like Chef, terraform etc.
• Validated experience with working on Linux and Windows platforms.
• Solid understanding on Linux file system, commands and related scripting languages.
• Keen in learning other related technologies ETL, BI and Masking Space.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Basic understanding on XML, JSON formats and on Cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge on Change/Incident and Service Request and Escalation Management.
• Proven interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to talk to business/technology and Product teams and understand their use cases and ability to deliver PoCs as needed.
