Job SummaryUnder general supervision, the Business Intelligence Developer contributes to the success of the organization through business process mapping, process optimization, performance measurements, integration of best practices for operations and capital programs, financial analysis, and reporting of metrics.
Interacts with management, supervisors, project managers and leaders of every service and administrative unit. The ideal candidate is expected to design and develop business intelligence reporting and provide post production support. The candidate will coordinate communications and outreach efforts to all internal and external stakeholders.
Job Duties

• Author of complex data integration, reports and dashboards
• Consult with management and\or BI team to clarify program intent, identify problems, and determine the extent of programming and coding needed
• Measure and report customer satisfaction; optimize customer service processes
• Develop and track key performance indicators for the facilities maintenance program
• Analyze maintenance operations financial data to help ensure resources are appropriately allocated and budgets are aligned with requirements
• Support the asset management program through total-cost-of-ownership analysis
• Support business process mapping and process improvement
• Analyze alignment of facilities management practices with sustainable operations
• Prepare and regularly update standard reports related to facilities operations & and maintenance, capital programs, and capital projects
• Develop Business Intelligence metrics for Facilities service optimization
• Prepare briefings and presentation materials
• Responsible for submitting and following through with support tickets to fix bugs or problems with the application
• Perform other duties as assigned

Specific Job Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of BI development, SQL and/or development experience
• 3+ years of experience with data warehouses, data marts, dimensional modelling and OLAP technologies
• 3+ years of relevant work experience working with databases like Snowflake, Redshift, Teradata, Big Query, etc.Advanced knowledge of writing complex T-SQL
• 3+ years of relevant work experience working with data integration tools like SnapLogic, dbt, Informatica, Talend, etc.In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
• 3+ years of relevant work experience working with reporting tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau, DOMO, Power BI or equivalent
• Experience building Reports, Scorecards and Dashboards
• Knowledge of software development, QA methodologies and release process
• Good project/time management and teamwork skills
• Driven by a fast-paced, energetic, results-oriented environment
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently as needed
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative

Basic Qualifications

• BE/BTech degree from an accredited college or university
• 3 or more years of relevant business intelligence experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical objectives and processes to myriad audiences
