About The Team

In todayu2019s highly connected world, exchange trading across the globe is key requirement of global banks. Valdi Global Markets is group of highly talented and motivated individuals who strive for low latency real-time trading solutions. Team at Pune location is focused on exchange connectivity for all APAC and LATAM region exchanges for market data and order routing solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

This position is for product development of exchange connectivity product. You would be working on complete SDLC of products. Key technologies would be C++, IPCs, Python and shell scripting. You would be responsible to multiple products development and production issue handling. You would be required to do communication with business stake holders, expectation management and team/product management. You would be working in highly quality & client focused environment.

What You Bring

Knowledge / Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in software development
• Hands on C++ experience on Unix, with design patterns and complex architectures.
• Strong OOPS concepts, application of STL and fond of mathematical problems
• At least 2 years of experience of development on UNIX (Solaris/Linux) platforms, fine tuning the systems and code refactoring
• Experience in development of multi threaded application.
• Experience in development of client server architecture with TCP/IP and multicast messaging.
• Experience in Inter process communication (sockets, message queues, shared memory, semaphores),real time application development
• Experience on debugging and profiling tools
• Ability to map regulatory and client requirement with product and design solution.
• Ability to provide technical support to team
• Ability to handle production issue and provide quick solution
• Highly professional, client focus and passion for learning new developments
• Good understanding of Agile development practices.
  
  

Additional Requirements (good To Have) U2013

• Exposure to exchange gateways, FIX messaging, Equities markets & trading systems
• Exposure to Automated testing, Continuous Integration u2013 processes, tools etc.
• Knowhow of Git, Google Test Framework for unit testing

• Degree or equivalent

• Fluent in English
• Excellent communicator u2013 ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
• Attention to detail u2013 track record of authoring high quality documentation
• Organized approach u2013 manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
• Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
• Willing to travel occasionally (no more than 10%)
• Willing to work in Flexible schedule, ready to work in shifts
• Must be able to perform under pressure
• Must learn and maintain knowledge of software components as necessary to support application builds and deployments and maintaining production environments.
