Key Responsibilities:
Actively promote the News2Day app to students, faculty, and staff through various channels such as social media, word of mouth, and campus events.
Encourage and facilitate the installation of the News2Day app among your peers, aiming to meet or exceed targeted installation goals.
Organize and execute promotional events or campaigns on campus to raise awareness and engagement with the News2Day app. This may include info booths, contests, and partnerships with student organizations.
Gather and report feedback from users and potential users to the News2Day team to help improve the app and tailor marketing strategies.
Conduct on-campus research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in promoting the app, as well as understanding the news consumption habits of your peers.
Build and maintain relationships with student organizations, campus media, and faculty to support promotional efforts.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a college or university with a strong campus presence and network.
Passionate about news, technology, and digital media.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in marketing, sales, or event planning is a plus but not required.
Active on social media and knowledgeable about current trends and digital marketing strategies.
