Campus Ambassador jobs in Chennai at Carbon Initiative Forum

About the Program

The Campus Ambassador's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Educate and engage the youth on the topic of climate change and related issues, practical and sustainable solutions, climate policy
2. College activities and events - E.g. organizing a DIY upcycling workshop with waste materials
3. Get more volunteers to join the CIF Climate Club - This is a movement for the people, by the people.
4. Lead their city chapters and handle other volunteers and planning of the initiative

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. can start the part time job/internship between 26th Nov'20 and 31st Dec'20

2. are available for duration of 6 months

3. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Help the climate and tackle global warming through awareness. You're free to use any means to spread accurate knowledge. Support and drive policy for climate action as well as compulsory climate education in schools and colleges. Do you see yourself as this person?

About Carbon Initiative Forum

Carbon Initiative Forum (CIF) is a nonprofit organisation working towards climate change awareness while encouraging individuals/organisations to take charge of their impact on the world around them. We collate information on the various aspects under the umbrella of climate change - its causes, short and long term effects, and how we can adapt and take action to mitigate the ever-changing planet. CIF engages with the public, equipping them to make sound-informed choices that could potentially bring about positive holistic change in the world around them. CIF also aims to prepare them to face the local challenges arising from this global crisis.
