Responsibilities:

Billing and Cash Handling: Scan and process products accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Calculate and communicate the total cost, including taxes and discounts, to customers.
Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment securely.
Provide change and receipts to customers.
Transaction Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of prices and quantities when processing transactions.
Monitor and identify discrepancies in prices or product codes and rectify them promptly.
Maintaining Clean and Organized Workspace: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and free from clutter.
Arrange and restock shopping bags, receipt paper, and other supplies as needed.
Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Follow the supermarket's policies and procedures related to billing, cash handling, and customer service.
Adhere to security measures to prevent theft and fraud.
