About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work alongside business, procurement lead in managing, reviewing inventory and the entire ordering process (negotiation, vendor management, inventory management, operational process, STNs, GRNs, etc.)
2. Build on product messaging and set them apart from others to give them a unique selling point
3. Help identify untapped opportunities & new products
4. Obtain insights into demand via primary & secondary research
5. Work with the design & content team to create banners with attractive merchandise and appropriate copy for product merchandising properties
6. Work with large B2B accounts to maintain consistency across product catalog for images, messaging & product description
7. Help build a business from zero to one
8. Work with large B2B accounts to maintain consistent availability
9. Assist in the day-to-day functioning of the procurement functions
10. Prepare, review, and analyze purchases records
11. Work on vendor identification, development, negotiation, and management
12. Develop market insights from the perspective of procurement
