JOB DESCRIPTION :

Preparation of MR/PR Specification, TQs, TBE, Vendor offer evaluation, Design calculation preparation, Vendor document Review and approval.
Preparation & Review of CP System design of SACP, ICCP for UG Piping, Tanks (Internal & Tank Bottom),Civil Re-bar structure, Piles etc.
Preparing periodic reports with respect to assigned tasks to be submitted to the managers.
Apply knowledge of basic engineering principles and corrosion theory to execute projects or complete various aspects on projects. -Provide technical supervision and technical assistance to other Functional Departments within the company.
Independently conduct various field tests (e.g. redox potential, soil resistivity, current requirements, etc.)
Able to coordinate, convenience client for approval of the CP System design documents.
Prepare final report for client including service recommendations.
Conduct post installation surveys & Review of the reports. -Diagnose and remedy system difficulties during resurvey operations.
Prepare/Review CP designs, specifying anode type, quantity, and location; rectifier location, test station locations , Anode locations, and other design features on prepared drawings to meet the CP System protective design criteria and effectiveness of the CP system.
Ensures optimum efficiency of Cathodic Protection operations for avoiding pipeline corrosion, by reviewing the coating and wrapping deterioration trends.
Review Vendor CP design document and all other documents related to CP for final approval and attending meeting with contractor for the same
Identification and to decide the CP requirement w.r.t. Cost Optimization & BOQ/MTO review with Electrical Engineering.
Preparation & Review of CP System design of ICCP & SACP system for well casings, plant piping, cross-country pipelines, concrete structures (buildings, piles, sumps, foundations, etc.),storage tanks (Internal & Tank Bottom),UG Vessels, Vessels internals, water boxes, jetty piles, sea water structures [rotating band screen, bar screen, gates], etc.
Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the line managers
Critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, excellence communication skills
Interface with other FD’s for cathodic protection requirements for engineering drawings and documents inputs.
