Develop and maintain (a) a strategic plan for the Centre’s near- and long-term objectives; and (b) an operational plan defining the roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders in achieving the Centre’s strategic aims. These documents should be drafted in close collaboration with ReNew and IITD stakeholders.
2. Track and evaluate the progress of the various research projects under way at the Centre. This function will require the Executive Director to approve and track project plans and timelines, as well as to work with ReNew and IITD senior staff to reorient projects and resources that are not making sufficient progress toward the Centre’s strategic vision.
3. Develop and execute a coherent outreach plan for the Centre to have external impact. Outreach activities include, but are not limited to:
Convening roundtables, conferences, and other events that bring together diverse stakeholders from the public, private, and academic sectors
Roll-out activities for new Centre research, including public reports, press releases, editorials, and in-person meetings and consultations with Central Government Ministries, international institutions, regulators, NITI Aayog, and other relevant bodies
Development and maintenance of a compelling website showcasing the Centre’s activities
Fostering relationships between IITD and external partners, both within India’s public and private sectors as well as with international institutions, universities, and firms
