Job Title: Center Manager
Location: Ahmedabad, India
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Center Manager for our skill development center in Ahmedabad. The Center Manager will be responsible for the establishment, mobilization, recruitment and training of trainers, documentation, and overall performance management of the center. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for social work and education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish and manage the day-to-day operations of the skill development center in Ahmedabad.
2. Recruit, train, and supervise trainers to ensure the delivery of high-quality training programs.
3. Develop and implement strategies to mobilize participants for skill development programs.
4. Oversee the documentation process including maintaining records of participants, trainers, and training materials.
5. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the center to ensure compliance with organizational standards and objectives.
6. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders including government agencies, NGOs, and local communities to enhance the effectiveness of the center's programs.
7. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
8. Prepare regular reports on the center's activities, achievements, and challenges for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field. A degree in social work, education, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Previous experience in managing a skill development center or similar educational programs is desirable.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and local languages.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office suite and data management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
