Job Description of Center Manager
Center manager responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of facilities. They commonly manage a team of professionals including doctors, nurses, councelors and other support staff.
Center managers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of a center’s operations, from staffing to marketing. They must be able to manage a team and handle a variety of tasks. Focus should be on excellent patient experience and patient engagement.
Reporting
Center Managers will report to Area manager who shall report to Head of Operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Responsible for keeping the licenses, rent agreements (Building, Doctor, Manager),BMW, Fire, Pollution or any other statutory documents.
2. Oversees the daily operations of a center, ensuring adequate staff availability during working hours in order to provide quality patient care.
3. Manages the budget for the center, ensuring that all expenses are within the allocated amount.
4. Hires, trains, and supervises all staff members, ensuring that they are appraised about their roles and responsibilities.
5. Allocation of the staff in the various sections.
6. Ensuring staff is in proper uniforms and wearing ID cards during working hours.
7. Execute the policies and procedures in the center, in accordance with state/district regulations as well as management.
8. Put up the request for any new material/supplies related to purchase, repair or maintenance to the area manager for sanction.
9. Maintain adequate availability of materials/supplies in the center.
10. Ensure timely submission of internal and external reports.
11. Keeps accurate medical records of all patients and maintains confidentiality of all information.
12. Place order of the medicines, track records of all medicine order and delivery. Receiving the medicine supplies and ensuring physical Inventory stock is matching with available stock in the software portal.
13. Keep records of all the inspections happened in the center.
14. Handle any issues arising in the center by patients or staff. Resolve the issues first hand. In case not able to resolve, connect with their senior (area manager) for resolution.
15. Awareness about hospital assets and accessories, responsible for their safety and avoid any mismanage/misuse.
16. Ensure high rate of patient satisfaction by delivering timely and quality services.
17. Attends meetings and trainings as required by the organization.
18. Performs audits on a regular basis to ensure that patient documentation is complete and accurate.
19. Participates in quality improvement initiatives to improve the overall quality of care at the health center.
20. Any other tasks assigned by the management from time to time.
