Job Description

Managing Group lending process:

  • Handles centre meeting carefully and efficiently.

  • Helping members in completing loan application / documentation.

  • Responsible for putting up the loan proposal to the branch manager on behalf of the members, after in-depth evaluation of the case.

  • System entries to be done diligently.

  • Facilitate Group Eligibility Test (GET) along with the BM.

  • Conducting loan disbursements effectively (if any).

  • Collection loan repayments as per schedule.

  • Conducting EUV to confirm proper utilization of loan by the members within 10-14 days from the date of issue of loan

  • Responsibility of carefully handling the cash collected from the field till it is timely handed over to the concerned authorities at the branch.


Duties regarding Business Procurement:

  • Conducting introduction meetings, Group Formation meetings and Mandatory Group Trainings with the members, in the assigned area by the BM/HO.

  • Up to date information of members to be maintained.

  • Ensure member satisfaction.

  • Careful monitoring of degree of member absenteeism with efforts made to reduce the same.

  • Maintaining formal and professional relationships with the members and other community members.

  • Helping the Midland Microfin’s branches grow through promotional activities and brand building


Miscellaneous duties:

  • Conducting area surveys and other specific surveys as per instruction of Sr. authorities for business enhancement.

  • Identifying potential business opportunities in the areas assigned by the BM/HO.

  • Conducting training of the centre officers who get associated to him/her for their training process.

  • Being active and responsible member of the branch and takes up his/her branch responsibilities diligently.

  • Attends training workshops/sessions organised by the Head Office/Sr. Authorities.

  • Managing the new product launches as per instructions from the HOD - Operations.

  • Reporting any occurrence of problematic situation/fraud to the Sr. Authorities immediately and take appropriate action for safeguarding the interest of the company.

  • Complying with duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the department head and the senior authorities of MMF.
