Job Description

Bijoy-Ashu Chair Professor’ in Civil Engineering recruitment in Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur

Eligibility (i) Experience: The applicant must have served in the position of Professor of Civil Engineering for at least five years in a reputed university/institute in India or abroad. 

(ii) Field of Specialization: Structural Engineering/Advanced Engineering related to other fields of Civil Engineering.

(iii) Nature of Work: The selected candidate shall be required mainly to conduct and guide research and shall have the option to offer courses at the PG and UG levels additionally.

Age Limit: There is no restriction as to the age of the candidate.

Nature of Appointment and Pay: (i) Nature of Appointment: Contractual for a term of three years with a Provision for renewal.

Pay: Rs. 60,000/- per month (No other Allowance is Admissible)
