Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) invites applications for the position of Chairman and Managing Director

1. Post Name: Chairman and Managing Director

2. Pay Scale: Rs. 200000-370000 (IDA)

3. Qualification: The applicant should have the qualification:

(i) Graduate with MBA/PGDM; or

(ii) Engineering graduate; or

(iii) Chartered Accountant; or

(iv) Cost Accountant; from a recognized University/ Institute

3. Job Description And Responsibilities:

The Chairman and Managing Director are the Chief Executive of the Corporation and is accountable to its Board of Directors and Government/Shareholders. He/she is responsible for the efficient functioning of the Corporation for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters

4. Experience: Applicants should possess cumulative experience/exposure for at least 5 years during the last 10 years at a senior level of management in an organization of repute in the Electronics/Electrical Sector

5. Duration: The appointment shall be for a period of five years from the date of joining or up to the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.


Age Limit:
Age of superannuation 60 years. Internal: Min - 45. Max - 2 years residual service as on the date of vacancy w.r.t. the date of superannuation. Others: Min - 45. Max - 3 years residual service as on the date of vacancy w.r.t. the date of superannuation.
