Job Description

Chairman & Managing Director /1 Post

Pay Scale: Rs. 200000-370000 (IDA)

Job Description And Responsibilities: The Chairman and Managing Director is the Chief Executive of the Corporation and is accountable to its Board of Directors and Government. He/She is responsible for the efficient functioning of the Corporation for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.

Qualification: The applicant should be a graduate with good academic record from a recognized University/ Institution. Applicants with Technical/ MBA qualifications will have added advantage

Experience:i. The applicant should have adequate experience at a senior level of management in a large organisation of repute.

ii. Applicants with Experience in Finance/ Marketing/ Production will have an added advantage. Experience in Fertilizer industry is desirable.

Duration Of Appointment: The appointment shall be for a period of five years from the date of joining or upto the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Age Limit:45 years. Age of superannuation 60 years

NFL was incorporated on 23rd August 1974 with two manufacturing Units at Bathinda and Panipat. Subsequently, on the reorganization of Fertilizer group of Companies in 1978, the Nangal Unit of Fertilizer Corporation of India came under the NFL fold. The Company expanded its installed capacity in 1988 by installing and commissioning of its Vijaipur gas based Plant in Madhya Pradesh.
