Max Wholesale has developed a self-operated e-commerce platform to connect FMCG companies directly with small Kirana stores disrupting the traditional supply chain. FMCG retail in India is highly fragmented with 92% of it being deemed as ‘unorganized sector’ being run by family-owned mom and pop stores. There are more than 7 million neighborhood convenience stores in India, also known as Kirana stores. These stores carry thousands of SKUs and have to deal with hundreds of suppliers on a weekly basis for replenishment. MaxWholesale’s e Wholesaler model provides superior performance across all metrics that matter to these retailers like better assortment, convenience, pricing and fulfillment services.

Founded by Samarth Agrawal and Rohit Narang, Max Wholesale’s solution includes not just a tech platform but also warehousing and logistics capabilities. Today, more than 120 FMCG companies and 5000 Kirana stores are working with Max Wholesale. With the use of GPS based routing algorithms, Max Wholesale is able to create dynamic replenishment routes every day. It helps dramatically reduce time to delivery from the current one to two weeks to less than 24 hours, enabling quick refill of SKU's for retailers and reduce inventory cost. It’s automation engine also captures and processes complete trade data at each level. This improves product availability and the cost-effectiveness of the supply chain. Max Wholesale is currently powering online wholesale for more than 120 FMCG Companies, like Cadbury, Dabur, Patanjali, Capital Foods, P&G, HUL to name a few.
