1. Driving Financial Strategy

• Supporting the CEO in business decisions to drive business deliverables.
• Building and maintaining a highly motivated team specialized in the functions of accounting, taxation, treasury and operations team that provides seamless functional support to the business
• Building a low cost liability company through various routes and instruments of fund raising such as bank lines, term loans, NCDs, CPs etc.
• Developing and leveraging relationships with regulators, auditors, credit agencies and other financial institutions
• Strengthening controls related to lending and other related operating activities
• Supporting in developing the SOPs/ Processes for the company
• Steer the company’s P&L in the direction of the goals/ targets set by the company

1. Accounting & Taxation

• Knowledge of IGAAP & IFRS accounting for Retail Finance, Wholesale Finance & various ancillary products including Loan, Lease, Insurance, Maintenance, etc.
• Knowledge of Direct & Indirect Tax and regulatory filings including Tax Audits, Income tax returns, Transfer Pricing, GST, etc.
• Designing and structuring of Chart of Accounts, Accounting Policies in line with the accounting standards, Consolidation of accounts with the Global HQ
• Developing and designing reporting structures/ MIS for regulators, auditors and for various business needs including cost centre / segment accounting
• Managing the pricing grid for various products of retail and wholesale
• Managing the preparation of budgets, variance analysis of budgets vs actuals, and various management reports with respect to the companies requirements

1. Treasury

• Knowledge of fund raising is necessary including but not limited to Bank Lines, CPs.

NCDs, ECBs etc.

• Managing Rating Agencies, Bankers and various other stakeholders for fund raising
• Managing efficient cash flow and ALM requirements of the local regulators i.e. RBI
• Knowledge of compliance and complete documentation for raising funds through CPs, Bonds, etc.
• Monitoring and review finance and treasury policies, procedures and practices in line with Indian & International accounting standards, legal requirements and good industry practice.

1. Operations

• Managing the Pre and post disbursement operations functions relating to retail and wholesale operations
• Management of the payment allocation for receipt of collections funds and maintaining adequate controls with respect to the allocations
• Enable on-time disbursements to customers and dealers
• Develop processes, policies and procedures in respect of retail and wholesale operations
