Project Title: Development of National Digital Library of India as a Digital Knowledge Asset of the Nation(DNA) Reference No.IIT/SRIC/R/DNA/2019/148
Qualifications:Bachelor degree in any discipline. Preference would be given to candidates with MBA (from IIM, XLRI, ISB or preferably from a top management college
Relevant Experience: 10+ years of work experience, including a minimum of 6+ years in senior management/ executive role managing multiple functional areas in the field of education/ training/ skill development/outreach activities. Should have a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing strategies leading to the growth of an organizations revenue, clientele and line of products/ services. Preference will be given to those having worked on education services or digital library. Must have an entrepreneurial mindset with exceptional communication, organizational and leadership skills. Must possess skills in several of the following areas: - Strategic planning - Developing high quality strategies and roadmaps that are in alignment with the short-term and long-term goals of the organization
Education sector knowledge: Should have a first-hand experience of dealing with various stake-holders of the education sector and maintain a deep knowledge of the various market forces shaping the current and future trends through in-depth market research - Leadership: Should be able to lead from front with respect to recruitment of key team members, align teams across departments with the core objectives of the organization and inspire them to set challenging targets and achieve them in a systematic manner, Marketing & Operations: Should be able to conceptualize innovative campaigns and create widespread awareness using multiple mediums (ATL/BTL/Digital) leading to on-boarding and engagement of schools, students, teachers on the platform. Ability to guide and oversee large teams across geographies for successful implementation of campaigns round the year - Education, design and technology acumen: Should have a passion for learning and applying innovative pedagogical and technological solutions leading to better teaching and learning outcomes through deeper engagement - Communication & Networking: Should be able to represent the organizations mission, vision, brand image, and core values to all stakeholders leading to greater endorsements and opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities for the position are several of the followings:Prepare detailed documents formulating the strategy, roadmap, policies and finances for the organization across all departments, Recruitment of key members, their orientation and provide guidance for problem solving , Conceptualizing and implementing systems of reporting, tracking of progress of individuals/ sub-projects to meet goals along with their adherence to organizations policies ,Act as a point of contact with the NDLI core team on key strategic issues and decision making Posting: Chennai or nearby places Other Benefit: o House Rent Allowance (fixed) over and above consolidated salary
