Qualification: (a)Doctorate in Economics of a recognized University or Institution and two(2) years experience in Research Work(theoretical or applied) either in Government Institutions, or in recognized Universities or other recognized Institutions. OR (b) First or Second Class Masters Degree in Economics of a recognized University or Institution and five (5) years experience in Research Work(theoretical or applied) either in Government Departments or recognized Universities or other recognized Institutions.

Desirable: Experience in working on techniques or Project evaluation and appraisal either in Government Institutions or in recognized universities, or other Institutions. Note: 1) Only a pass in Masters Degree in the concerned subject is necessary in the case of candidates already in the department. 2) The qualification of experience prescribed for the post shall be one acquired after the acquisition of academic qualification prescribed for the post.

Scale of pay : Rs.89,000-1,20,000/-

Number of vacancy : 01(One)

Age limit : 30-46: Only candidates born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.1989 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities.
