Key Responsibilities:

The Nostro Management Associate Business Analyst will report to the Nostro Management Analysis & Execution Lead and support the team to achieve detailed analysis and remediation of:

• Nostro Account Structure

Firm-wide Nostro Structure, including
Ledger/Statement relationship. Move to target stat 1-1 setup
Single point of contact for Nostro management in respect of specialized remediation activity

• Nostro Management

Management of the full population of Nostros within a consistent and structured framework in partnership with the Global Nostro Management team
Deliver a consistent corporate-wide Nostro operating model
Drive change Management and Governance of LoB owned account structures
Partner with the Nostro inventory (ATLAS team) and ensure integrity of inventory data

• Nostro Lifecycle

Global team accountable for full life-cycle of Nostro accounts in partnership with the ATLAS team
Change Management – control change process for those nostros / sub-ledgers
Provide monthly governance for all functions that are responsible for key processes that impact the life-cycle i.e. processes performed in amending existing structures with:

Network Management
Reconciliations
Corporate Treasury
Lines of Business

• Nostro integrity

Accountability for integrity of Statement and Ledger ownership, structutre, finance, reporting and operation
Assist in ensuring data quality and integrity within Nostro inventory
Drive end-to-end consistency in information flows and control points to ensure optimum model for provision of statement, ledger & predictions
Partner with Liquidity, Credit and Other Risk functions to mitigate risk of discrepancy in structure
Governance of LoB’s ensuring they:

provide correct and timely information for investigations
ensure ledgers, statements are entirely consistent

Skills (Optional):

Knowledgeable of banking functions, specifically, in one or more of the following areas: Finance, Network, Reconciliations, Cash Management, Risk and Controls
Experience using business analysis techniques and/or other relevant capabilities, such as data mining, process mapping, process improvement, measurement frameworks
Knowledge of end-to-end technology lifecycle
Experience of working in an Agile Environment
Experience of the following application: MagicDraw, Confluence/Jira, Microsoft products and Business intelligence applications such as Tableau/QlikView
