Civil Engineer recruitment in Guwahati - For a client of TeamLease Services Ltd

1 Enclosure 1 RESPONSIBILITIES OF QUEST ENGINEERS DEPLOYED AT SITE / HQ. Quality Assurance Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical / C&I): 1. Review of approved Quality plan. 2. Review of all input material test certificates with respect to quality, shell life & source. 3. Ensuring that entire construction activities are executed in strict compliance with approved quality documents. 4. Witnessing various tests to be carried out by contracting agencies. 5. Maintenance of daily logbook of quality checks. 6. Preparation of joint protocol before start of major activities. 7. Preparation of joint protocol for all stage inspections. 8. Reporting of any deviation in quality during execution to client & contractor. 9. Maintenance of all records for “Request for Inspection Intimation”. 10. Periodical inspection of calibration certificates for all MMTS. 11. Periodical inspection of test certificates for all lifting & other construction equipment. 12. Joint protocol of all measurements taken. 13. Maintenance of records of all design changes during construction for incorporation in as built drawings. 14. Compilation of all joint protocols area wise for submission to clients. Additional responsibilities of Civil QA Engineer at site (for 8 months): 1. Review of mobilization plan & resources of all contractors. 2. Review of all construction procedures before start of any activities. 3. Review of bills for correctness of quantities with respect to execution protocol. 4. Monitoring of project schedule & reporting to client for any slippages & short comings. 5. Suggestion of catch up plans in case of slippages. 6. Shall ensure strict adherence to approved Quality & safety procedures for all construction activities. 7. Coordinate for compilation of all testing protocols from agencies for civil works. 2 Safety Engineer. 1. Review of site safety manual. 2. Strict monitoring of safety, environment & occupational health parameters as per HSE manual. 3. Strict monitoring of usage of PPEs like Helmet, Safety Belts, Safety shoes, Safety Goggles as per safety manuals. 4. Training to workers for safe working through toolbox meeting. 5. Ensuring availability of First aid boxes, Fire Fighting equipment in designated places. 6. Ensuring display of safety slogans, safety placards, contact no of local fire stations & hospitals at designated locations. 7. Ensuring availability of drinking water, canteen facilities, rest room & latrine facilities in the construction area. 8. Ensure permit system for working at height, hot works & heavy lifting activities. 9. Ensure OCPS (Operating control procedures) for each construction activities as per safety manual. 10. Ensure all T&Ps, MMES are in good working conditions & procured from reputed brand. 11. Ensure good housekeeping at construction area for safe working conditions. 12. Regular visit to labour colonies from HSE point of view. 13. Reporting of all accidents, fire, damage to property within 24 hours of occurrence. 14. Preparation of daily safety reports as per format. 15. Conductance of monthly safety audit as per format. Review of Progress of Project by HQ 1. Progress of the project will be reviewed in HQ based on Sl No 4 of Civil Engineer’s additional responsibility 2. Visit to Site by Senior Staff of QUEST, depending on requirement. 3. Review of QUEST Site Operations as part of QUEST Operations Management. 4. Discussions with Leap on Project issues based on inputs from QUEST Site Team.
