IMS Engineer Job Opening in For a Client of TeamLease Digital at Patiala

Executing end-to-end testing of IMS features, including VoLTE, VoWiFi, SMS over IP, RCS, and emergency calling.
- Performing functional, regression, and interoperability testing on Nokia IMS components (TAS, SBC, CSCF, HSS/UDM, MMTel, etc.).
- Analyzing SIP call flows, logs, and trace files using tools like Wireshark, Nokia NetAct, and vendor-specific debug tools.
- Validating system behavior on cloud-native architectures (containerized and virtualized IMS).
- Developing test cases, test plans, and detailed test reports compliant with customer and 3GPP requirements.
- Identifying, logging, and tracking defects; collaborating with R&D, solution architects, and integration teams to ensure resolution.
- Supporting operator trials, feature verification, and solution acceptance testing in lab and field environments.
- Collaborating with cross-functional Nokia teams to ensure product quality, performance, and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of IMS architecture, VoLTE/VoWiFi, SIP protocol, and EPC/5GC core networks.
- Experience with IMS testing tools (SIPp, Spirent, IXIA, DS Test, Wireshark, etc.).
- Knowledge of 3GPP standards, Diameter, RTP/RTCP, and telecom signaling.
- Hands-on experience with cloud/virtualization platforms (OpenStack, Kubernetes, VMware).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
