Clerk/ Shorthand Writer (Higher Grade)/ Junior Translator & Interpreter job opportunities in High Court of Bombay at Goa

Shorthand Writer (Higher Grade)

No. of Post :  1  

Qualification :  Degree in Law with Commercial Certificate Examination or Examination for Speed of 100 wpm in English Shorthand and 40 wpm in English Typing              

Pay :  Rs.35400 – 112400

Age Limit :  21 - 45 yrs

Junior Translator & Interpreter

No. of Post :  1  

Qualification :  Degree in languages viz. English, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarathi

Pay :  Rs.35400 – 112400

Age Limit :  21 - 45 yrs

Clerk

No. of Posts :  11

Qualification :  University Degree and passed Government Commercial Certificate Examination or Examination for English Typing with Speed of 40 wpm

Pay :  Rs.19900 – 63200

Age Limit :  18 - 45 yrs

Cook

No. of Posts :  4

Qualification :  Should have passed at least IV Standard Examination. Preference being given to candidates with higher qualifications (subject to the shortlisting criteria being applied as prescribed by the Bombay High Court).              

Pay :  Rs.18000 – 56900

Age Limit :  18 - 45 yrs

Application Fee : Rs.200/-for Cook and Rs.500/- for other posts, to be paid using the 'e-challan'.

Selection Procedure:  Candidates shall be selected on the basis of examination in Shorthand, Typing and Viva Voce. The shorthand and typing tests will be of 40 marks each and viva voce will be of 20 marks. The Typing Test will be on computer.

Below the Qazi, there were Judicial Magistrates, such as Vazirs and Amirs vested with original and appellate powers within their territorial jurisdiction.
