Role Designation: Associate consultant/senior associate consultant
Responsibilities:
- Technically analyze the clients' IT environment for achieving better efficiency using DevOps tools & methodologies traditional or Cloud environments.,
- Prepare a gap analysis document and / or design a proposed DevOps Automation adoption roadmap (CI / CD / Cognitive) leveraging Infosys DevOps Platform,
- Architect the DevOps tooling infrastructure and define the interface requirements among the various tool sets integrated with the Infosys DevOps Platform,
- Provide mentorship to DevOps Engineers, project delivery and support in the areas of Build / Test / Deploy lifecycle activities and Application Performance Management,
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, industry and market trends to assist in project and/or solution offering development activities,
- Enhance win ratio for the business by developing impactful campaigns covering the complete sales cycles,
- Be an evangelist for Automation solutions through regular thought leadership activities (conferences/whitepapers/blogging),
- Present value proposition and thought leadership at external and internal events,
- Grow and develop the team through hiring, training and mentorin
Technical and Professional Requirements:
- Minimum experience required is 2 years and location of posting is subject to business requirements,
- Technical DevOps design, CI/CD/CT development on one or more technologies (Java / Dot Net / SAP),
- Experience with developing and implementing DevOps Automation Solutions; very strong scripting skills,
- Practical exposure and work experience with DevOps tool chains like: GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory etc.,
- Configuration Management and Automation with different tools like Ansible, Chef, and Puppet etc.,
- Experience with Monitoring / APM tools such as ELK, Prometheus, New Relic, Dynatrace, Nagios,
- Experience with designing / optimizing cloud environments built on AWS / Azure etc. (nice to have),
- Experience with machine learning technologies like Python ML Sci-kit, Tensorflow, Apache Spark ML etc. (nice to have),
- High impact communication and presentation skills across multiple formats,
- Strong desire to explore, evaluate and understand new technologies
