On a typical day, you might

Work collaboratively with engineering and infrastructure operations team to help automate and streamline Chargebee’s production operations, deployments, and monitoring processes
Design and build automation frameworks for the deployment, management, and monitoring of production and QA servers
Design and author tools that improve the capacity and productivity of developers
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, staging, and production environments.
Play the role of an advocate and promote knowledge sharing and DevOps culture across the engineering team.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, trends, and standards, and identify automation opportunities, designs, and develop automation solutions that improve DevOps operations and efficiency

We hope you’ve got

Excellent scripting skills, i.e., Bash, Python, etc.
Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration on Cloud infrastructure
Experience in building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure
Experience in automating a real-world production environment
Experience with seamless/automated build scripts used for release management across all environments
Experience with infrastructure automation using Chef, Puppet, or Ansible in production environments spanning multiple nodes
Experience in implementing continuous integration using automation platforms like Jenkins, GoCD, etc.
Experience with revision control source code repositories (Git)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across the organizations and with externals
