Job Description

  • Cloud Server and Security Expert
  • Position : Cloud Server and Security Expert
  • Salary : 14-18 Lacs Per Year
  • Job Location  :    Mohali
JOB DESCRIPTION :
  • Design server architecture and deploy internal applications to the Google cloud platform. 
  • Note that we use Google Cloud currently, not AWS, so you must be a Google Cloud expert.
  • Administer, manage and monitor the performance of PHP, Python and NodeJS applications deployed on Linux servers.
  • Monitor and Manage Linux servers for performance and security.
  • Shell scripting and automation of routine tasks.
  • Suggest enhancements and escalation concerns appropriately to diagnose and remediate underlying system problems and inefficiencies.
  • Work closely with the development team to support requirements.
  • Lead the companies tech infrastructure to ensure we have enterprise-level security, utilising security best practices and methodology in both our applications and our server.
Requirements :
  • 8+ years of experience and technology expertise in configuring and managing web servers and enterprise level software/server security.
  • Hands on experience of the cloud platform ie; AWS, Google Cloud.
  • Relevant Experience of the Linux Server with great troubleshooting and optimization skills.
  • Working Knowledge of the AWS and Google cloud services such as BigQuery,
  • Lambda, EC2, VPC, RDS, Route 53, SES and load balancer and S3 etc
  • First-hand experience of hosting web applications such as PHP, Nodejs, and
  • Python with Apache and Nginx.
  • Troubleshoot issues and product vulnerabilities to implement large - scale quality improvements in collaboration with Engineering teams.
  • Expert in Backup and Security management.
  • Should be able to work under a high pressure environment with flexible work timings
  • Shell scripting and automation of routine tasks.
  • Basic understanding of CI and CD, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Github, Docker, Nagios, Ansible.
  • Effective communication skills and proven leadership capability
  • Understanding of source code version control systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience helping organisations achieve ISO27001, or similar level security standards is preferred. 
  • At a minimum, you should have knowledge of the relevant security certifications that our company should aim for.
