Key Purpose of the Job: The Cloud Support Engineer - Managed Services (CSG) is responsible for providing post-sales technical support to customers (for example, channel partners, end customers) for cloud solutions, as per agreed SLAs. This support could be in the nature of migration / implementation services, monitoring services and 24*7 customer support services (one or more of these services),depending on the nature of the service agreement with the concerned customers. The role holder is the point of contact for trouble shooting and providing resolution to all technical support issues / queries raised by the assigned customer(s). Educational Qualification / Experience required: - Engineering in CS / EEE / ECE (or) Graduate in Computer Science
Experience of around 3 to 5 years in system administration and server management (windows, linux) / cloud support role Atleast 1 to 2 years experience in cloud migration and implementation (for example, AWS, Azure) Experience in monitoring, metrics collection, and reporting using open source tools. Knowledge of scripting languages (for example, python) and virtualization techniques (for example, VMware) Understanding of networking and database cloud technologies Atleast one or more cloud implementation certifications at an associate level Good communication, customer orientation, documentation and trouble shooting skills Key Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for effective execution of migration / implementation and account management activities for assigned customer(s) Responsible for providing monitoring services (and /or) 24*7 customer support services for assigned customer(s) Responsible for coordination with concerned internal and external stake holders for effective execution of customer support activities, including MIS / reporting and documentation for all support activities
