Co-Op Engineer

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, IN

Roles and Responsibilities:

VLSI branch is preferred, other Electronics branches can be considered
Good knowledge of Verilog/System Verilog Language is must
Knowledge of Verification methodology like UVM/OVM will be preferred
Knowledge of scripting language like Perl/Python
Candidate should be good in Digital Electronics concepts
Good problem solving skills
Good communication skills
Any experience in writing Verilog/SV design or testbench will be a big plus.

For circuit: Good knowledge of RC circuits, FET basics, circuit design using FET. Knowledge of SRAM/ROM basics. Knowledge of scripting.

Test: digital design, logic synthesis, logic simulation, hardware description language such as Verilog, C++, Perl or similar scripting languages.

Job Description:

4. For Physical implementation : The person will be part of AMD’s CPU physical implementation using state-of-art PnR tool/flow/methodologies in latest technology nodes, He/She could be part of various part of the flow ( top/block implementation, timing/electrical analysis and physical verification) based on the proficiency he/she exhibits.

5. For Circuit: The person will be part of the Cores circuit team and will be working on custom circuits (mainly SRAM/ROM). Person will work with the team to implement circuit techniques to improve circuit performance, optimize dynamic/static power, reduce area. The person will be doing simulations to understand circuit behavior and debug issues.
