Your Role and Responsibilities
Your day in the role will include:

As an ETL developer role you will be closely working with Data Architects to develop Asset Management data pipelines.
You would be part of an Agile team that will revolutionised the Asset Management Industry, move our enterprise applications, to the Cloud, implementing ETL/Data pipeline, creating data views, Cognitive and Analytics capabilities

Your day in the role will include...

We are Tools group in India GCIC. You would develop tools for our GTS customers.
As an ETL Cognos Developer your duties will include, but not limited to:

• Designing, development, testing and maintenance of all ETL solutions
• Building an environment by utilizing a range of data sources across a number of areas to gain insight and extracting data from the core operational systems, using both structured and unstructured data
• Supporting and manipulating complex data sets to assist data insight
• Passionate to work on technologies - Data Platform Development, CEDP, Clean Code and Continual Integration Development

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3-15+ years of experience in Data, Data analytics and building data pipelines
• Skills worked on Datastage design & development (or similar ETL tooling). Data modelling, Netezza, DB2, SQL server or similar DB’s. SQL, Scripting
• Exposure to Big/Fast Data concepts
• Extensive experience building and supporting data extraction, transformation and loading processes using commercial tooling
• Cognos Analytics or Equivalent tools
• Researches data variances.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Exposure to Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins),Continuous Delivery (maybe DevOps),Apache Kafka (nice to have)
• Possess advanced knowledge of data architectures; Experience with Agile methodology, experience building large, scalable E-commerce applications, Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins),Configuration management tools (SVN, Git),Unit testing.
• Critical Thinking, Being Able to Listen, Learn and Lead using Design Thinking as a main value and principle for the application and services development
