Key Responsibilities:

Contacting debtors via phone, email, and/or mail to discuss outstanding debts and negotiate payment terms.

Documenting all communication and interactions with debtors accurately and thoroughly in the company's systems.

Collaborating with internal departments, such as legal and finance, to escalate cases when necessary and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Adhering to all relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection practices, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

Meeting individual and team targets for debt recovery and other performance metrics.

Continuously updating knowledge of collection techniques, industry trends, and best practices to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Providing feedback and suggestions for process improvements to management to enhance the overall collections process.
