About Company

Karo Sambhav collaborates with enterprises and enables them to close their material loops by designing and implementing transformative Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs for Waste from Electronics (E-waste) and Plastics Waste.

We develop socially responsible and financially sound circular solutions by collaborating with disintegrated players across the waste value chain. This value chain comprises of producers, brands, consumers, bulk consumers/offices, waste pickers, waste aggregators, responsible recyclers, regulatory bodies, municipal corporations, etc.

Our technology platform and systems foster good governance, fairness, trust, transparency, and traceability. Karo Sambhav partners with a wide range of stakeholders to co-create engagement programs that drive long term behavioral change in society, enable collection and responsible recycling of waste at scale. Karo Sambhav had partnered with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a part of the World Bank Group, for 2 years to set up a robust India-wide transformative solution on e-waste management with the aim of making recycling a way of life. Karo Sambhav started with a focus on e-waste and has now expanded into plastics waste management.

Karo Sambhav’s country-wide grassroots programs have enabled a collection of 7500+ Metric Tons till date, and engagement with over 2 million people and over 5000+ informal sector waste aggregators and last-mile collectors. Karo Sambhav's Impact Report and Impact Video for 2017-18 highlight similar milestones of its journey.

In Sep 2019, an Industry Coalition of 31 producers announced a set-up of a new ‘Asia’s Largest Packaging Waste Management Venture’ in partnership with Karo Sambhav.
