BU Description/Position Description:

  • This position is responsible for collecting invoices for an assigned customer portfolio. 
  • Additional responsibilities include analysing contracts, calling customers, researching disputes, reconciling accounts, following up on payment arrangements, and escalating customer disputes as required. 
  • The Collection Specialist will also lead staff training and activities, help drive key collection results and metrics across the team, and develop cross-functional relationships within BMC to support the collections function. 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in commercial collections preferably for IT & Software industry.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel & Reporting
  • Client-friendly approach with demonstrated proficiency in building client relationships
  • DSO result driven (understands financial targets and forecasting)
  • Ability and skill set to prepare and distribute reports.
  • Problem solving & Dispute handling skills
  • Understanding of basic quote to cash cycle

  • Experience/ Qualifications:

  • Requires Graduation degree.
  • Master degree would be an added advantage. MS – Office
