As Commis Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes for guests and members to enjoy an excellent experience. A Commis Chef must also prepare all the mise-en-place and help achieve the departmental objectives. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks in accordance with the highest standards:
Prepare and present high quality dishes according to company guidelines
Keep all work areas clean and tidy and avoid cross contamination
Prepare mise-in-place for all relevant menus
Assist other departments when necessary and maintain good labor relationship
Report issues related to maintenance, hygiene and risks
Comply with the standards related to hotel safety, fire protection and health, safety and food legislation
Know the departmental objectives and strive to achieve them as part of the team
