Communication Consultant

Eligibility : a) Master Degree from a reputed University in Communication / Mass Communication / Journalism/ Media Science/ Public Relations/Media Studies. b) Have Minimum of three years post qualification experience in similar assignment. c) Possess excellent communication skill d) Be Proficient in English and Bengali for report writing and verbal communication. The knowledge of local condition and geography of coastal West Bengal will be preferred. e) Exposure in video, sound and image editing software along with video shooting will be preferred. f) Be proficient in Computer usage with knowledge of Microsoft Office especially MS Word, MS-Exel, Power Point etc.

Remuneration : Rs. 2,500/- per day, for around 20 days a month payable at the end of the calendar month.

Age Limit : Age limit as on 30.06.2018 is 62 years.

Consultant Engineer (Senior)

Eligibility : The Consultant has to have – a) A Graduate degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed University. b) Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in similar assignment. c) Proficiency in English, and Bengali for report writing and verbal communication d) Experience in Estimation, interpretation of drawings, scrutinizing drawing & estimations, etc. e) Knowledge of PERT/CPM and project management using computer software. f) Working knowledge of MS-word, Excel, Power- Point, document handling etc. g) Familiarity of coordinating with various Govt. departments and other agencies.

Fee/remuneration: Rs. 3,000/- per day, payable at the end of the calendar month.

Consultant Engineer (Junior)

Eligibility : The Applicant has to – a) Possess BE (Civil)/B.Tech (Civil)/Diploma in Engineering (Civil) from any recognized University b) Have a Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in similar assignment. c) Possess excellent communication skill d) Be proficient in English and Bengali for report writing and verbal communication. e) Be proficient in Computer usage

Remuneration: Rs. 1,500/- per day, for around 20 days a month payable at the end of the calendar month.

Selection : The selection of the consultant will be based on the qualification, experience, exposure and merit of the applicant followed by interview on the criteria given and the best suited candidate will be engaged.

Institute of Environmental Studies & Wetland Management (IESWM) was established in March,1986 with the primary objective of carrying out studies related to wetland functions and its ecology. It was set up initially with the name 'Institute of Wetland Management & Ecological Design'(IWMED) with a modest set up.But with dedicated manpower having a proper understanding and assessment of the environmental backdrop,tenacious approach,continuous visibility,consistent persuasion and close touch with all concerned authorities,it has developed its own ambit during this period.IWMED was the only Institute in this country dedicated towards research in this fragile acosystem.But, within a short span of time,the Institute became well known to the academic circle of our State and partly to different parts of our country and frequently been referred as “Wetland Institute”.
