Position details - Responsibilities of a GroupBazaar Community Coordinator

Community Coordinator is a very important role in the company. They will be responsible for the following activities in their designated area in Vijayawada. 

• Training and capacity building of Group Bazaar partner stores & part-time community resource persons. You’ll also create the appropriate training material such as presentations, charts, leaflets etc.  

• Marketing activities: organise marketing activities to increase awareness about Group Bazaar and acquire new customers. Activities include leaflet distribution, awareness meetings, setting up demo stalls (kiosks) etc. 

• Community engagement activities: Planning and organising development and engagement activities for the communities in the area. These may include - health camps, awareness sessions, kids-oriented activities, entertainment activities etc. 

• Assistance: Resolution of issues faced by partners, community resource persons and customers.

• There will be 80% fieldwork where this person will spend the majority of their time in the field working with our customers, new users and partners

Qualifications are important but Attitude is more important for us.

Education/Skills/other criteria:

• Should be a Graduate / Post-graduate from a full-time college. 

• Candidates with prior fieldwork experience in the social sector (NGOs) will be preferred. 

• Basic proficiency in Word / Excel / Powerpoint

• Good written and spoken English

• Good communication skills as this position require one to talk to many people 

• Must have a smartphone with the data connection. Should be able to use smartphone apps very well. 

• Since this job has 80% fieldwork, the candidate should have a bike (field travel expenses will be reimbursed by the company). 

Please note: For freshers, there will be a probation period of 2 months. For freshers with more than 2 years of relevant work experience, there will be a probation period of 1 month.
