JOB TITLE – Community development manager/Growth catalyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Community Development Generalist will meet with business representatives and community officials to determine overall growth, development needs and goals.
• Formulate plans and coordinate projects under Agremy.
• Research and connect with the producers, clients and monitor the process on a daily basis.
• Evaluate, identify and promote model community and workforce development projects.
• Formulate procedures, policies, and guidelines for assigned community or workforce development programs.
• Plans and coordinate the training of staff in community or workforce development activities.
• Work closely with handpicked artisans, monitor the preparation and delivery of products.
• Check the quantity and quality of products periodically.
• Submit reports on the work-flow regularly. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a bridge between the marginalized community and the company, to achieve our common goal, “Best products at Lowest price”.
• Educate the communities and guide them to handle technical activities related to our e-commerce platform (Agremy).
• Provide vital assistance in the distribution of funding, implementation of community projects and monitoring the progress of the communities.
• Understand the issues affecting deprived areas, assess the situation and devise ways to counteract the evident hurdles.
• Evaluate existing schemes, identify their flaws and highlight the room for improvement.
• Devise work strategies by considering budgetary restrictions and execute the action plan effectively.

ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA

• We are looking for candidates who can work offline on this project; part-time/internship/full-time (PG completion required).
• Candidates with under/post-graduation preferably in MSW Community development, M.A Social entrepreneurship, BA/MA Sociology and BSW are welcome to applyfor this position.
• Should possess good communication, team building, negotiation and persuasive skills.
• Should be good in report writing and also be familiar with methods of planning developing and administering programs.
• Should work with empathy, dedication and sincerity towards achieving common goals of the community.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

·         A stipend of Rs. 6000-10,000 per month will be awarded for interns, on the basis of their contribution and performance in the prescribed period.

·         For full-time employees, compensation/CTC will be INR 3,00,000-5,00,000 per annum. Highly effective performers will have a chance be company’s stakeholders.
