Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work with the engineering (design & manufacturing engineering) team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier capabilities are effective to meet the product or process requirements
2. Support the R&D team for prototype developments and testing
3. Support the new components of the development team
4. Identify, recommend and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of procurement processes
5. Work on managing the supplier database
6. Prepare customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in processes
7. Work on process and product related documentation (DFM and DFA)
8. Prepare preliminary process flow diagrams and understand the technical feasibility of products
