Job Description

Computer Operator - Data Entry

Computer Operators work in many different industries and organizations, including healthcare, government agencies, and more.

Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output.

Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits. Compiling, verifying the accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry.

Computer Operators are responsible for running computer operations as well as ensuring that computer systems and hardware are in good working order.

They typically work from a server room or data center.

Their tasks include maintaining work order schedules, inputting commands into computer terminals, performing routine maintenance, and installing software updates along with a myriad of other tasks.
