Job Description

Consultant at Model Ahmedabad, IN

Responsibilities :

  • Implementing and maintaining of deployment automation
  • Managing/monitoring QA, staging, and production environments
  • Managing Java application servers like JBoss, Weblogic, and WebSphere
  • Supporting on issues on Enterprise environments
  • Backup and recovery. Conducting disaster recovery cycles 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Overall experience of 3-4 years
  • 2-3 yrs of experience in understanding of JAVA enterprise application deployments under JBoss
  • Exposure to managing Java application servers like JBoss, Tomcat, Jetty and BI tools ( i.e Cognos)
  • Experience in managing staging and production environments with proper SLA
  • Hands-on experience in configuring load balancers, application cluster, front-end HTTP servers etc.
  • Experience in developing scripts in Shell, Python
  • Experience in packaging tools(ANT, Maven) would be a plus
  • Solid knowledge in CI/CD concepts
  • Good understanding of orchestration tools like Ansible, Jenkins
  • Experience with Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems. System Administration skills are strongly desired.
  • Ability to work under guidance, manage multiple simultaneous tasks, and communicate effectively with a variety of project teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, upbeat attitude, with a dedication to quality and ready to work on shifts
  • Fast learner, able to pick up new ideas and approaches quickly
