Job Description

Engagement for these posts would be on full time contract basis 

Consultant (Legal) /1 Post

Retired persons from Central/State Government, autonomous bodies, public sector undertakings etc. held in the posts in pre revised pay scale in PB 3 with GP of Rs.5400, 6600 (revised Pay Matrix Level 10 and 11) or equivalent in PSUs. The candidates should have 25 years experience.

Consultant (Academic & Training)  /1 Post

Retired Officer of the rank of Chief General Manager, General Manager, Deputy General Manager in NABARD, BIRD, CAB, NIAM, MANAGE and other leading Training Institute of Central Government having 25 years of working experience in the area of training and capacity building in cooperative and allied sectors.

Cooperative Movement in India owes its origin to the sponsorship of the Government. The first important Report on the subject that of Sir Frederick Nicholson (1885),stressed the role of “enlightened cooperative leadership”. Machlagan Committee (1915) attributed most of the deficiencies in the cooperative societies to the ‘lack of teaching both before and after registration’. The Royal Commission on Agriculture (1928) stressed the need for ‘patient and persistent education of members in the ‘principle and meaning of cooperation’ as well as for training the staff entrusted with the duty of building up the cooperative movement.
