Internship Details
About Internship: Yo Zindagi works on mental health. Our main objective is that the youth live their mentally and emotionally healthy lives by adding some components of life skills. The organization has so far conducted workshops on different life skills topics. The organization wants to make modules of some new topics that students and teachers can refer to. These modules will be based on experience and practical knowledge. The main objective of this Internship will be to prepare modules of the subjects related to the students’ life skills.

Roles and Responsibilities: 1- Research the given topics.
2- Designing modules/content.
3- Online Workshop on modules/content created with the team.

Perks: 1-Certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of Internship.
2-Opportunity to work closely on start-up with Development Sector Professionals.
3-A platform to build a professional understanding of mental health, gender, youth and counselling.
4- Credit will be given in modules/content publications.

About Company

We rarely express our-selves. During our adolescence, we are told to keep our mouth shut and not speak our heart. Due to this suppression, adolescents suffer a lot and become self-doubting, under-confident, inexpressive and un-aware adults. We, at Yo Zindagi, empower youth to express themselves and realize their potential. We do this by engaging them in conversations on mental health and emotional development by conducting workshops.

Our vision is to develop emotionally balanced, mentally strong and self-aware youth by equipping them with Life Skills.

We started in 2012 by conducting workshops in schools, colleges and Universities in Uttarakhand, and later expanded our work to various Educational Institutes in Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi including IIT Delhi and Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai.
